Erin Cayaban is the Pastry Chef at The Fourth, responsible for the pastries and desserts that sweeten every diner’s experience at the restaurant. However, Erin did not begin her career in pastry; rather the Filipino native received a degree in Computer Sciences and worked for nearly a decade as a programmer. After years spent in front of a computer screen, Erin looked for a change, enrolling in the Pastry Diploma Program at The International Culinary Center (formerly the French Culinary Institute) in New York. Erin began her career as a Pastry Cook at The Breslin before moving to Café Boulud. Erin spent 15 months at the famed French restaurant, before landing at Michelin starred Per Se. Chef spent two years at the legendary restaurant, working as a Pastry Chef de Partie and Chocolatier.
Following her time at Per Se, Erin arrived at The Fourth in December 2014, taking on the role as Pastry Chef. Erin has brought with her an immaculate attention to detail and fun, delicious desserts.
